Congrats on seven years, will have to check this podcast out–Shea is one of my favorite follows on twitter! I always look forward to reading your thoughts1
Congrats on 7 years, and it's great to hear your thoughts on the wonderful work you do. I just started pushing harder on my own content approach with a podcast and substack, and I just wanted to let you know that it was illuminating reading your reflection after 7 years of work. It's difficult to find a way, and I wish you the best, and I very much hope you find a way to make your (great!) content sustainable for you.
Hi Ashley, happy anniversary! I believe podcast and newsletter are two very different media with different audiences. For example, I read you here, but I don't listen to the podcast, and for many could be the other way around or both together. So it's only up to the time you can dedicate to them and your passion. I believe you don't lack the second, but should you ever lack the first than of course the choice should be done with reason in mind. But I know it's hard, especially as they both serve as your portfolio, and tool to network and growth. Anyway, congratulations for your seven year, keep up with the great work! 🙂
Thank you! And I'm glad you made this comment because I've been thinking A LOT about this. I 100% agree with you — I have two different audiences and I think I'm talking to two totally different groups of people. One of the things I've been thinking about doing is adapting the podcast episodes to a more traditional Q&A style format, but leaving in more of "my voice," sort of like when you read a Q&A from The New Yorker. Would that be interesting to you? The podcast takes up so much of my time, so finding ways to bring the two audiences together and providing content for both has been on my mind lately.

Sounds like a good plan for a non listener like me. I found useful scrolling through the podcast transcripts in your past newsletters 🙂
🥳 happy 7 years!
Thank you Eden!!!
Of course you would like Six Trophies. 🏀 I think investigative journalism is your calling’s. Nice job keeping it going for seven years.
Hahahahahaha thanks Mike!
